They reach Kumamoto Station, on their journey to Assou. A stranger offers them a camera in a unusual design. He demands witnesses.
In his camera's new hand, Shinnosuke can enjoy his time in the gorgeous Assou mountains and fields in full. Shinnosuke was surprised to find things in the Assou fields as well as the mountains which weren't seen in Kasukabe. Also, there are locals to help and new friends to form.

An evening in the summer heat, Shinnosuke sees a massive creature outlined against the light of the full moon. Near the animal is a man who has a a wide smile.
This is the man who gave him the camera at the station...
The man calls himself Professor Akuno. Assou witnesses more weird events because of this encounter.
